Swing Street

Swing Street is an ensemble that was formed by a handful of musicians from the Rochester Concert Band, and has grown to a 17-piece jazz/big band group that performs at numerous community events and private functions throughout the year. The group, formed in 2000, has a large repertoire ranging from the early days of jazz to contemporary arrangements.

Swing Street is currently taking auditions for 2 positions. Experienced Tenor Sax and Trumpet player, with sight-reading and improvisation skills a plus. For more information, please contact Deana Carr at 507.281.6003 or dcarr@ci.rochester.mn.us
