Their 1987 remake of Ritchie Valens' classic "La Bamba" for the soundtrack of the same name earned the band a number one smash on the Billboard charts, and the following year's La Pistola y El Corazón, which found the band revisiting its Mexican folk roots, was also highly regarded.  This all acoustic performance of traditional Tejano and Mariachi folk songs featured on that Grammy winning 1989 release of "La Pistola y El Corazon," will also feature a set of Los Lobos hits and fan favorites as well.
